Where to find good easy to learn trumpet solo?

Can I play Both Sax and Trumpet?

• HI. Im in the 11th grade, and i have been playing trumpet since the 6th grade. My high school band director is an Alto Saxophonist, and he is AMAZING. He has the nicest tone i have ever heard on the saxophone. So nice in fact, that i am greatly inspired to learn sax myself. I find the instrument very intruiging, and i want to learn it. I do have a very nice tone on the trumpet, i have been told, ( no i dont like to brag). I am the section leader in my band, but i really want to learn sax. There is a boy in my section that plays both, and his tone is fine. I just dont want to mess up my tone. But i do have a strong passion to play sax and learn it well...Will the two instruments conflict? I know the embrochures are completley opposite, and i have expirience playing both. I can produce a sound on Sax, so i just need a few good tips and pointers. (I said Pointers!! NOT put-downs.)

  There must be professional musicians who play both. Look up some players you like and see if they also play the other one. Probably some of them do. If you have a passion for the sax, you really have no choice, do you? You have to play it.
