Do you think I can still learn how to sing?

  • Okay I'm 17 and I CAN'T sing at all. do you think I still have a chance, even if i just like, sing and sing on my own everyday?

    thats what I did. except I'm 14, but anyways, as long as you are constantly doing something musically related, humming, singing, listening to music, playing an instrument and listening to pitches, then your voice should improve over time. Notice I said OVER TIME...do not expect to be able to sound like a god over night :)

Singing is a talent depended art. You could learn to play the guitar adequately but that's not true with singing.

yes...i do believe you can... it doesn't have to cost money you should at least take choir or practice singing everyday anything is possible the more you work the more you'll improve

most singers are born with the voice they have and when they go to voice lessons, their teachers are teaching them to sing to their full potential. i love to sing and i have a good voice, but it is not genetic. no one else in my family can sing. you could try taking voice lessons and see how it works out. i hope my answer helped! :)

Everybody can sing[fullstop] there is no such thing as being "tone-deaf" everyone can sing it all comes down to confidence... however if you would rather another instrument... i would strongly urge you so consider it but it's expensive... i would suggest piano because its not physically demanding like a wind instrument, but you will learn the basics and then if you continue, you will learn more than the basics and then you can move on to another instrument if you so desire it is never too late too learn an instrument ... EDIT: i should have read your question more carefully... find yourself a singing teacher!~
