What type of trumpet should i get?

Is it ok to get a professional trumpet?

  • so i play a peice of crap trumpet and i need to upgrade since i am getting better and i was wondering if i got a professional trumpet from bach would it be ok because if i am paying a lot of money i might as well get a trumpet i can use for many years would it bad or should i get a intermediate trumpet??

    I would go ahead and get the professional if you know you are going to be playing for years. I had gotten an intermediate tenor sax back when I was in middle school then later on I got a professional one, which I wish I had just gotten in the first place. The differences are just in how well they are made, which affects how in tune they play, for some instruments how responsive they are, how good the tone is, etc... The extra money for a pro line instrument is totally worth it.

stick with what you got;, just polish it as long as it sounds ok; when you become professional, that's when you hit the pro trumpet;
