I want to learn to play the guitar. What's the best type of guitar to learn with?

    to learn how to play the guitar you could really start with any acoustic guitar. I would say to start off with a guitar with a smaller neck because this makes some difficult chords easier. Go with one somewhere in the 100-200 dollar range because anything cheaper wont work, and anything more expensive will be perfect for the little details which isnt necessary for a beginner guitarist. Really, you don't need anything fancy to learn on. I've learned both guitar and bass on two knock off fenders and I'm doing fine. If you can get your hands on a guitar that sounds halfway decent, then that's pretty much all you need. One bit of advice, if you've never played guitar, I think that electric is actually easier to learn on because the strings aren't as thick and they're closer to the fretboard. Hope I could help a little bit! :)
