How do you Vibrate your voice when your Singing?

Anyone good at singing and is willing to lend a helping hand?

  • I need help with singing. Does anyone know any daily practics to make your voice lighter and make you achieve vibrate in limited time? Or is there a long way?? Or in other words... is there any way to achieve VIBRATO IN SINGING??

  • Answer:

McFly has stated it clearly. You need/want a teacher. In person.. Training a voice is a long term event, for the teacher as well as the singer. The delicate yet amazingly sturdy mechanism that lives in our throats needs special attention that you can only get live. ( Obviously, I am as distrustful of real people that will promise you the moon and stars in 5 easy lessons as I am of on-line or CD programs) Progress i s usually steady and gradual for the first 6 months, and then either reaches a plateau ( depends on the chemistry between teacher and student) or really starts to take off. Reckon with a year's worth of lessons. Vibrato in singing comes with being familiar with your voice, and learning how to use it properly. There are many forms of forced or incorrect vibrato as well. Another plug for singing lessons. Another factor- are you a fully grown adult? Teen's voices are not through their puberty till 16 for girls and 18 for guys. (sorry, all you star-gazers) The last couple of months may or may not make a difference, but if you are still growing, take it easy! Your vocal apparatus is still growing too. Best wishes and keep o n singing

I just practice every day. It's worked for me. I have pretty nice vibrato.

To achieve a desirable vibrato one needs to be relaxed and supported. Exercises like going up and down a semitone at an increasing speed can help (ie. C-C#-C-C#, getting faster and faster). Be warned though, many singers dislike their vibrato and constantly try to tone it down. There isn't much worse than an over-the-top vibrato. Focus on a pure, relaxed, resonant tone and vibrato should come naturally with time and practice. For a lighter tone try arpeggios to 'ba', descending scales to ming-aw-aw...(nasal) and fast mellismas.

Genau!

Yes there is but it would be too hard to explain over the computer. If you are serious about singing you really should get a teacher. good luck.
