How do I know which chords I can play within a scale? For example: Which chords can I play in the key of E min?
-
Usually when I write a song, I start by picking the scale I want to work within. This is very easy because I know the formula to pick out a scale. But how do I know which chords I can play that fall within that same scale? And, once I am able to figure out which chords I can play within the scale, how do i know what these chords are called? Thanks!
