How can I find a singer for my band?

How do I find a singer, or form a band?

If tried froming a band with a couple people already, but they end up saying they are to bury and don't want to continue. I've been playing guitar for about 4 years now and I think I am ready to put together a band the only problem is I don't know anyone who has the time or that really wants to. Any tips?

It is a big time commitment, depending on what venue you want to play. Contact area schools and speak with the music instructors. Band rooms, Music/Recital Halls on campuses (High School and College) are great places to post what you are looking for. Just be sure to get approval prior to posting anything.
