It is of course possible to replace the jack on your guitar. However, it appears that the jack is OK, but that you rather need to replace the wire/s going from the control to the jack - one is hot, the other is ground. The reason why your pickup isn't responding is probably because of a loose wire or a short somewhere, or a faulty pickup switch. It may also be that the pickup itself is faulty, but I somehow doubt this very much. I urge you to let a qualified individual - someone skilled with guitars and a soldering - do this for you. It's probably a fast and simple procedure.

It's an output jack, not an input jack and any good guitar tech should be able to fix it.

yes you can. any instrument workshop should do it, but go to the store u got it from if u can. you'd either need an input or pickup replacement but they'll know what's wrong

Hello there, You got the best advice from Mikey. Thumbs up for a good answer. I suspect you are not capable of diagnosing the problem and fixing it. I also think it is probably a very simple fix. Most likely you just need to have the hot wire soldered back onto the output jack. If the hot off is off, there will be no signal from your pickup. Take your guitar to the shop and have them fix it for you. Later,

I think I can understand your question! It's an output jack socket (not an input - the signal goes out, not in). Yes, replacing it is a simple job. I don't really understand the rest of what you write, but it doesn't seem to suggest that there is a fault with the output socket but with the wiring.
