What audition song would be good for?

What is a good jr.high monologue audition piece and song?

  • So im in jr.high and were doing "The Wizard of Oz" for our musical theater show and were suppose to list 2 or 3 parts we want. I either want Dorothy or the Scarecrow (mostly Scarecrow.) Whats a good monologue for my audition and whats a good song, A few choices please. I sing sort of lower then most girls but not too low and my voice has been cracking lately so not a huge range but I can go pretty wide. You can use any monologue from any Movie, Television show, Musical, Exc. But the song HAS to be from a Musical. Please help, Auditions are next week (Tuesday singing audition, Thursday Monologue) Please Please Please help! (Nothing to cheesy or corky please!)
