Good quality trumpet at a low price?

What is a good quality professional Bb trumpet that has a good price?

• I need a new trumpet. My student trumpet just won't do anymore. I have been playing for about 4 years. My teacher recommends a Bach Stradivarius, but that is WAY out of my price range. I currently play a Holton T602. I loved it as a starter, but I need something new. My price range is $300-$1000 (My budget is somewhat low). I have Currently been looking at the King Silver Flair (2055T) and the Getzen Capri 590. Can you give me anything better/cheaper.

  I'm a profession trumpet player and I just bought a B&S Challenger 2 over the summer. It is a german made trumpet with a hand made bell. When they first came out they were called the "Bach Killer" because they played (and were built with the same specs) just like a Bach strad 37. The lead in The Tonight Show Band plays one. You can usually find these in the $700-800 range (sometimes cheaper) They list around $1500 or so. I've had no problems with this horn (and I have MANY trumpets) I played this horn in a pro big band all summer long and it never let me down. I will say the B&S says it has the same bore size as a bach but I feel like it is a hair bigger than the bach/ FYI. You can find them in the USA at many different dealers. I think the Woodwind and Brasswind carries them, but check ebay. You may find some good deals. Good Luck!
