I want to buy best acoustic guitar under 500. can you help me?

    Spend $199 on a Yamaha FG700S and he will be able to learn to play acoustic guitar wonderfully well on that guitar. Save the other $300 and earn some interest and when he gets good at guitar he can go buy a better guitar. You don't need to (and shouldn't) spend $500 on a guitar for someone who doesn't even play guitar yet. If you really must spend the whole $500 then get a used Taylor 110 (new ones are around $600). Some other good options under $500 would be: Yamaha L series Epiphone Masterbilt Takamine G series Seagull Again though, I'd suggest that a beginning guitarist should not waste money on an expensive guitar or one with built in electronics. Just a good quality basic acoustic guitar is all they really need and the Yamaha FG700S fits that bill perfectly well.
