  The fees should be paid on an hourly basis. In my case when I accompanied choirs which was many years ago, the fee was $40.00 per hour. The exception might be a college student who is taking an accompanying class and assigned to the choir. In that case there is no fee paid but college credits are issued. It is a form of internship.
