Are there any good private schools near Philadelphia, pa?

Does anyone know of any good schools in Philadelphia, PA that offer performing arts?

  • My daughter will be starting kindergarden this year and she loves the arts. She loves to dance, sing, etc. I would like for her to go to a school where performing arts is offered and is also a good school.

    Philadelphia is one of the best performing arts capitals in the country besides New York City so Philadelphia should offer variety. You probably would want to avoid the YMCA but The Settlement School has performing arts classes. Walnut Street Theater offers acting classes called The Theater School for Adults and Kids. If you have a multi-ethnic background Freedom Theater is an excellent place to study at. The Rock School is an excellent school if she loves to dance. The University of the Arts offers Saturday classes to kids K-8. If would like her to go to a full time school semester performing arts school The Philadelphia Performing Arts Charter School is an excellent place to be at if she is serious about her craft. Call The Settlement Music School. There are brances all over Philly, and they've been teaching kids for years. I went there when I was a kid. =) =) As far as I'm concerned, they're the best. They're reasonably priced as well.
