How much would a good acoustic guitar cost?

How much would an acoustic guitar cost?

  • I want to get an acoustic guitar. I am just staring out so i dont need an expensive one, but i dont want a cheap one that all of the strings are going to pop off of...so how much would an average acoustic guitar cost???

  • Answer:

Well, guitars aren't very cheap. There are guitars of different range, 12 string, more bass, more treble. Depends on what you like. However, if you just starting like I have, I first bought a Guitar that as $310. It isn't cheap, but you need a guitar that will fit you If you sing, buy a guitar that fits your tone, metal, or plastic strings. If you learning once again, buy a guitar that has a plastic rib around the guitar "handle" ( it is smaller and easier to control the guitar tone.) Here is my advice, buy a guitar that is $200-300 that has metal strings, ( harder to use but faster to learn ) and a plastic rib of a white or black colour around the "handle"

They have nice starter guitars and packages on musiciansfriend.com for around $100-$200. Stick with Ibanez, Fender, Epiphone, etc....i have an Ibanez and Fender, niether of which i spent more than $150 for and both sound good, the Ibanez sounds a bit better though.

Musiciansfriend.com also has a Model that's called Jasmine; it's made by the Takamine Company. Plays very well (I have one) and costs 99.95 I think. Anyway, it's a very good starter model. Good luck.
