What book should I use to teach playing on a bass guitar?

Can I use a double Bass gig bag for a Bass and a Guitar?

  • I know the answer is yes they will fit however will it work good. I find myself playing Electric Guitar and Bass at different times at gigs, I have a Ibanaz Bass and a Fender Strat. I know the Strat will be a bit loose but will I have any major problems using a double bass gig bag for a guitar and a Bass?

    Gig bags are good for transportation but not much else. Even as a transport means, they offer NO protection for the instrument against things falling on it or pressing down on it. Its a pain but as a previous poster noted, its best to get separate cases. Using one gig bag for 2 instruments seems like a good idea til someone inadvertently puts something heavy on it & something inside goes <snap!!>

personally I wouldn't, because I wouldn't want the instruments to smack each other while in transport. I play bass, and 3 seperate hard cases for each...yes it's a pain at times, when you consider I also lug around my head and 2 cabs (4-10 and 1-15), but it's worth it to know that my stuff is protected.
