Where is the best place to learn magic for free?

  • In my day I've done a few magic tricks. Above all the tricks I've done, I still consider myself as an amature in magic. I ask all of you that read to please give me a good website or any resource to get magic, for free.

    Most of the professionals I know rely heavily on books. Go to the library. Dewey Decimal section 793.8 is where you will find books with magic tricks. Youtube has some amazing material but is more known in magic circles for kids who expose methods by doing things badly. Magic stores are great resources as the folks behind the counter are interested in helping you develop as a magician and can direct you to appropriate tricks. Look them up on line, and you'll be able to find a local chapter. Also, look for a local magic club. The two largest in the US are the Society of American Magicians and the International Brotherhood of Magiicans.
