How do you warm up for singing?

How to Warm- Up for singing Properly?!?

  • Well I just dont know how to warm up that well. So like wat could I do, and wat could I do to calm my nerves I just need advice. Thanks

  • Answer:

Begin with basic scales at first. Then chromatic scales beginning with C and ending with C. End each scale with an arpegio and move up a half step to the next chromatic note in the scale and repeat. Spend at least 10-15 minutes on warming up before a performance. I hear that Celine Dion eats potato chips before she sings to lubricate her throat. Oh, and avoid dairy or chocolate before singing as these can make you phlemy. Happy Warmups!

Humming is a very good warm up. When you get up to sing , find someone in the crowd to sing to, and put your heart and sole into the song you preform. If you don't see anyone you like, look just above, ever ones head and look back and forth slowly.
