How much does a standard steel string acoustic guitar cost?

• I'm in Singapore and I would like to know how much a standard steel string guitar costs. I don't know how to play a guitar so I'm getting one soon. I would like to start off with a basic steel string acoustic guitar and I hope it can be the price between S$100-$200. Thank you! :-)

  I believe you can get a perfectly good acoustic for that price. The thing to do is have someone who plays and/or is knowledgeable about guitars to help guide you. Try not to be too impulsive and do a little research, and you will get a better instrument. You may even be able to get a better quality used one than brand new. Have the neck checked for straightness and fret wear, get one that feels as comfortable as possible on the fingers and hand position...Be aware you will have sore fingers at first that will toughen up as you build calluses and exercise them...
