How long would it roughly take to learn how to play chords on an acoustic guitar?
-
When I go to university next year, I'm planning on taking up guitar in my spare time. I know how to read music and that stuff cuz I've already been playing Piano for awhile but I have never played the guitar. So how long would it take innit!
-
Answer:
half an hour a day of practice and you could do some basic chords in under a 3 weeks, maybe a month. Some people find guitar easier than others, and the fact that you play piano will be a benefit, however slight, but there is really no way to tell until you start playing
