Where can i find a monologue from the Great Depression?

So i'd like to do some monologue work, and i feel very deeply for the individuals who had to suffer through the Great Depression 90 years ago in our American history. I'd like to portray the story and emotion of someone who lived through that time in a monologue, but i cant find any. Help please? Thank you!

I'm not sure but I think you can derive the feelings that you are looking for may be gathered from depression patients. I think they reflect the same kind of fear, anxiety and worry.
