What song should I sing for a upcoming talent show/audition?

Which Phantom of the Opera song should I sing for a talent show?

• I'm going (or trying) to be in my schools talent show, because many people have told me in a really good singer (they heard me in rehearsal for our school musical). I forgot to sign up an yesterday was the last day, but I'm going to ask today I I can still be in it :) because I think more people will come to that than the play, and I'll be singing more. I want people to know what I can do. So I saw a recorded version of the 25th anniversary Phantom of the Opera on monday, then I just HAD to watch it again yesterday, and I'm probably going to end up watching it again today (to look at the songs) I thought about the talent show, and I could think of NO OTHHER SONG that would blow people away than phantom songs. Because theyre not like modern music, they just sound way more appealing to me. I dont even want to listen to the music on my iPod anymore. :P I really wanted to do "Phantom of the Opera" because its lower and the highest I've gotten is a high F but barely. The only thing is I'm doing this alone. And I love "angel of music" a LOT. because music is one of my favorite things and I play the flute too and I'm in Band. Then there's the only real solo for a girl in "wishing you were here again" but i don't know how high that goes. If I really want to I can try and see if one of the music teachers who sing can help me... But can you actually teach someone to sing higher but it still be like a full sound?? Huff. So I need help. I don't know what to do and I want to know what song for when I watch it again. And if you could tell me how high each song goes and tips on how to do so that would be awesome. Thank you soo much :)

  There are several songs you could sing. "Think of Me" is one of the most popular, because it is when Christine (lead female) is discovered for her voice and chosen to play the lead. I honestly feel like that could be a good choice. If you are worried about singing high, you can take all the notes down an octave. "Wishing You Were Here Again" is a good solo song too, and is quite sad when you listen to the lyrics. Other possibilities would be All I Ask of You, Point of No Return, Angel of Music, Phantom of the Opera, and Music of the Night (If you wanted to sing one of the Phantom's songs) I think your best bet would be to sing Think of Me or "Wishing..." because those are both very good solos from the musical, and don't require a lot of "special training" . There are several websites that you can buy and immediately download the sheet music from, or you can order it to be shipped to you. Good luck!
