I want to dance but what does a dancer eat to have energy? Oh and how can in lose weight in 2 months?

Answer:
Change your diet-cut out soda and junk food and go for walks and you will see a change. If you want to check out "Diet for dancers" book. But just so you know you don't get a dancer's body by diet, you get it by dancing and being born with it.

OK, this can easily turn into a very dangerous path. A LOT of dancers slide into anorexia nervosa, constantly worrying that they are not slim enough. Anorexia is a very dangerous condition that can lead to death by heart failure. Even if you live and get over it, anorexics fail to get the calcium that they need to build bone density. After the age of 25 or so, women no longer build bone mass no matter what. If the bones have not been built by then, they are in for terrible osteoporosis - brittle, fragile bones. What that means is that there are women who were considered great dancers in their youth who now can't even walk without assistance because their bones are practically hollow and will break if they stand on their own. Also, anorexia messes up your metabolism. Undereating makes your body think there's a famine going on, so it slows down to conserve its resources. If you persist in undereating, your metabolism can get stuck in "starvation mode" and NEVER speed up again. That means that there are people who were obsessive about being thin in youth who are now overweight and can't lose weight because their body refuses to burn the fat off. Do NOT go down that road and do NOT listen to anyone or anything that tries to encourage you to. What you should do is talk to a licensed nutritionist and create a meal plan. Your doctor can refer you to one. The nutritionist will help you set realistic goals and make sure that you are eating enough to meet weight goals and still get everything you need to stay healthy. Do NOT make up a diet on your own, you will skip stuff you need, and do NOT pick anyone's BS from the internet. Anyone can lose weight in two months - the question is how much weight is realistic and healthy to lose. Depending on what point you're starting from, something to the lines of 1-2 pounds per week is a reasonable rate, so maybe 8-16 pounds over a two month period. Unless you're starting from 350 pounds or something, more than that can also be unhealthy. Think in terms of steady, healthy weight, not some sudden crash diet. Don't think in terms of getting thin - think in terms of being healthy.

Make sure you eat lots of protein, as long as you can burn off the extra fats. You'll also need lots of vegetables, a little bit of cards, and fair amount of dairy products. Just eat whatever is needed in your body at the time. If you're unsure, ask your doctor to see what you personally should have.
