What Are some Good Background Music (Instrumental or with lyrics) For a Medieval play?

  • I'm doing a somewhat Spanish-oriented Medieval Play. I need to find some background music for scenery purposes. It could be instrumental or with some singing. Music with someone singing is sometimes not go very well with the vintage atmosphere, but I could just find the instrumental version. This play is quite dramatic in general, so I could suggest some calm or melancholic songs. To be specific, I need at least one song for each type of scene. Note: The play may be Spanish-oriented, but that does not necessarily mean the songs should be Spanish or the style-far from it, actually. Maybe a little bit Western or Indie. The costume and names are the only Spanish things in the play. Here are the type of scenes: 1. Death Scene 2. War or Battle Scene 3. Romance or Love Scene 4. Normal or Neutral-Mood scene 5.Victory Scene 6. Emotional or Dramatic Scene 7. Maybe any song that you think is perfect for a medieval play.
