How do I learn to play an accordion?

Is it hard to learn to play the accordion?

    I would imagine the accordion is actually pretty difficult to learn. You need to know how to play a keyboard (piano) as well as control the contraction of the accordion and the other buttons. I don't play accordion (just guitar), but from what I've seen it's a difficult instrument to play well (I've heard some people play them not so well!). Sorry, I had to give Steve Urkel a thumbs up just because I used to watch that show and thought his answer was funny.

Oh no! I play a nifty accordion! I started at the raw and tender age of 2! My parents gave me an accordion to try and keep me away from my experiements that kept blowing up... But they soon regreted that too...
