Sing at school talent shows, local contests, and at your town festivals and fairs. Sometimes important people happen to be at those types of things. You never know.

reality shows are not the way to go, as the winners are rarely taken seriously.if at all possible get her to make a good quality demo disk, then find a reputable agent/record producer, and then see where it goes. avoid people like whats is name on X factor, take a long look at his past artistes and you'll find lots and lots of one hit wonders, who are now nearly woses. best of luck

if she's that young like 10, ya know, haven't develop her breasts yet. just wait. don't let cutesy hi-ptched melodies of Hanson and Aaron Carter get to you. develop her voice first. then take her to bars and clubs, or events to sing. record a demo and pass to producters, event organizers whenever possible. oh yeah, image is a huge huge factor.

Depends on the venue! Natually voice or rather quality of voice is a given! Are we considering "Pop" "Opera" "Jazz" "Blues" or "Rap". The originality of the message, phrasing, range - are but some of the considerations. Opportunity, management and promotion are others.
