How much does a wood Normandy Clarinet go for?
-
I have had this clarinet for awhile and now I am looking to see how much it is worth if I want to trade it in. It is a black wooden clarinet and it says Normandy 4 on it. It was made in France and the serial number is A13445

Answer:
I looked around the net. New they are $500 I saw a used one for sale at a music store for about $250. So figure $240 -$350 for a used one. Take off 50% of that for a trade in. So you won't get more than $175 max if you trade it in. Retailers and used instrument dealers won't give you more than half of what they can re-sell it for, sometimes even less than 50%.
