Talent agencies in NY that accept unestablished talent?
-
I have plenty of lists naming pretty much every talent agencies in NY. But which agencies accept new talent that isn't "established"? Thanks!

Answer:
You need to ask around about talent agents...not necessarily talent agencies. Many talent agencies don't accept unestablished talent. You need to get your headshots done and get as much of a portfolio together as you can, and audition for one of the many small-production plays or shows around town. I don't live in NY but I know someone who has written and produced a pla there, and smaller, independent companies are often looking to hire unestablished talent. There are many small productions. You are better off looking for ways to get hired and established in NY than trying to get into a talent agency.
