How Should You Read For The Children?

How many books have your children and/or you read during your library's reading program this Summer?

My children listened to (and read the easy readers) 120, and I'm on my fifth. Just wondered how many books other folks have read this Summer, and if you've had a good time doing it! My girls love going to the library, and the children's librarian even knows their names which is a lot of fun. Sort of like "Norm!" in Cheers. :)

Well, I've read 30 new books altogether. I don't go to the library, and I use booksfree.com, so for me books come with a wait. But I've also had the time to reread most of my personal collection, with is another 40. Summer has been long and boring for me, so I've had plenty time to read.
