Who are the characters in 'It's A Wonderful Life?

B&A: If you could bring one of your characters to life who would it be and why?

  • If you had to choose one characters from your novel to join you in your life, who would you choose? Why? Remember, if you chose him/her then he/she never did exist in your story. Be careful who you choose. (Dun dun duuunn) ps I'm having trouble with sleeping :p

Lol @the "he's sooo hot" answerer...justabitofafail. I would bring Ananias to life. He plays the role of the MC's father, but he's only seventeen years older than her. He gave her up for adoption and meanwhile became an antiheroic character...drinking, gambling, smoking, so on. He was very depressed, but not in an angst "NUUBODY UNDERSTANDS MEH" way, more of a "Shut up, I'm done with all of you" way. But he gets better and he's a very good father, if perhaps immature at times. He loves the MC dearly and she helps for him to pull his life back together. So I'd want Ananias by the end of the series, after the MC dies. I'd be his replacement daughter! I just love the way he and the MC interacted. Problem is, by the end of the series he's married a new woman and has a baby boy. So he'd abandon them. Oh well, she'll find someone else! ;D As for sleeping - thou shalt lie thy head down upon thy pillow, and thinketh about sheep. edit: does anyone else feel kind of bad for stealing a character from the story? I just sat there and thought "Oh poor Deliah, she has to raise that baby all by herself!"

The male protagoagonist. He is SOOOO hot and I could always make a new boyfreind for my character

Sock London

I think I will go with Tyler. He's not *really* all that important to the story (he's the best friend of the guy who the main character becomes friends with before they are separated by political rivalries... he's part of a minor plot line towards the beginning of the book, but doesn't do too much after that). He's a nice guy and I think he'd be cool to hang out with. There are a lot of characters I would *rather* hang out with, but they are all quite important to the plot.

Hmm, I'm kind of torn between two characters... X) Well, one character I'd love to bring to life would be James. He's just got that carefree personality, he's terribly optimistic, but can always manage to drag a smile out of just about anyone. He's the type of person I'd want to be around when I'm having one of my -really- bad days... ^^; Another I'd love to make real would be Liam. One, because he's -such- a badass - never hurts to have B.A. people in your life, am I right? ;) But he's also the type of person that I feel I could turn to when things are rough, someone I could depend on, that would listen while I vent out everything and not pass judgment... ... ^^; Edit: ... but oh gosh... if I chose them then they never existed in my story? O_O Poor Sarah! I'd be stealing one (or two...) of the most important people in her life! D: Augh, that makes me feel horrible.... Poor Sarah!!! >_<" ... ahem... ^^; I'd chose another character, but... I dunno, all the characters are pretty important to the plot... and they're all connected to each other in some way. Like, for example... Dominic is Sarah's father, but he was extremely poor and he and his sister were orphans, but Liam took them in a raised them and whatnot. So without Liam, Dom would probably still be on the streets with his twin sister, and he probably never would have met his wife, and thus, never would have had Sarah. O_O ... man, that's a hard choice... X)

Noreen Reilly. Out of all my characters (the important ones anyway) I feel that she'd be the easiest one to get along with. She will no longer be in the story, but I suppose I could rewrite everything so that the problems are resolved without Noreen's help. EDIT: Wait, is that cheating? I just wanted to make sure.

Probably Sam. He's pretty awesome. :) Aaaand he just might have a supernatural power? You know, no biggie though. :) But he's the male protagonist...So I might need to rethink this :p Okay. Am I allowed to create a new character for his role? With different, you know, qualities, personality stuff?

Mandy

None of my characters are particularly exceptional - exceptional things just happen to them. I think I would bring Mary to life, because I don't understand her as a character yet. If I knew her and if I could talk to her, I think I would get where she's going better.

A/lie

Jeminus. He's errr... kind of bipolar. Well, I guess it's not the right word. Split personality? No, but I guess you could say two-faced but not in a bad way. At one point he is amazingly nice, caring, etc. Next, he's pirate. MUAHAHAHAHAHA. oh no =( Drink some warm milk before bed... although that's kind of gross. oh, I know!!! I pretend that I'm sinking into my bed and that there are restraints around my wrists and arms and I can't move them upward. It takes so much focus I drift off XD

Joanne

Zechariah, because he's a real fun person and is really happy, hyper and hardly gets angry. He shows his feelings and is a guy who actually treats women right.

Deadend_Dreams

Umm... Jared. He dies anyway... He's very caring and understanding.
