Anyone ever read The Blind Watchmaker?

Has anyone ever read the book the Weatherman by Steve Thayer? If so what'd you think of it?

  • I personally loved it and it is my all time favorite book along with the Wheat Field by Steve Thayer and a few others........Anybody ever read Micheal McGarrity too? If so, what books would you recommend if you read both and liked them.........I'm trying to find good books for me to read cause my mom always tells me I don't read enough! THANK YOU!

  • Answer:

I loved the Weatherman. I bought it at a garage sale about 5 years ago and read it twice. To be honest I forgot all about it until now. I am so happy he has another book out. I am going to look into getting the Wheat Field. Thank you. I apologize that I have not heard of Micheal McGarrity. You may want to try the Travis McGee series written by John D. McDonald. There are 21 books I think. and they aren't really thick, but have great plots and lots of action and mystery.

I just reread it recently, and I love it. It's sequel "Silent Snow" is just as good. His son is kidnapped. Both are really good suspense. Here are other books he has written. http://www.libraryjournal.com/index.asp?layout=profileAuthor&iContributorID=364841&vchContributorFirst=&vchContributorLast=Thayer%2C+Steve&view=iContributorID&text=364841
