Does anybody know MR. Cesar Fabian Navarro Velazquez also known as Cesar Navarro?

Opinions on a brief idea for a story I'm writting?

  • It's years into the future, many problems were fixed...but also many problems were created. Theirs a new man in charge of a place once known as America. He's decided to go to the school (the only school in Zydiria---Zydiria is America) and put all the names of the seniors in a bowl and take out 12. 6 boys and 6 girls. He told them that they will be receiving a surprise when they set foot off the privet jet that is taking them back home. (anyone between the ages of 2 and 18 go to this school, they're taken from their families and they dont return untill they are finished with their learning.) but what the 12 "lucky" winners don't know is that Mr. Odette (the new man in charge) is planning on drugging them on the jet and when they wake up they wont be home, they will be on an island surviving on their own, finding their own food, shelter, warmth...all that. They assume they crash landed on this mysterious island, becuase Mr. Odette had a few actors pretending to be one of the servers and pilot telling the 12 winners that they crash landed and they all got off the jet safely. What the 12 winners also don't know is that they are being recorded and the whole world is watching. Mr. Odette wanted to bring fame back to their world. (one of the problems they took out of Zyderia was fame..they wanted every individual to feel and be equal as everybody else) The last of the 12 winners has the name of Alicia..she has a twin sister named Addison--but that doesn't really matter. Alicia on the island will come close with one of the other winners, named William. This is just an idea..I'm not sure if it's any good and that's why I'd like and oppinion about it...also any ideas anybody has for my idea would be great! I never seem to finish a story I begin to write, I always end up going with another story after 30 somthing pages...best answer 10 points! :D

  • Answer:

This is so exciting... I feel like it is an exploration on the need for competitiveness in a functional society. Also I read recently glamour is meaningless without envy, I don't know if that helps but it feel its relevant. I want to know why fame was removed, to reduce capitalism, to increase spirituality why and what have been the effects of this. In short why would I as a reader care if fame is introduced into society. Certainly Mr Odettes ethics are questionable but should I be rooting for him in his goal or not? You can take this far, so many view points to consider, to focus on how society as a whole feels about watching this and how this effects them or focusing on the 12 winners, i would say the twin is very important living in a world of equals and suddenly her sister is famous how does she feel about this and how does it effect her feelings towards her twin, One issue, how is there not already fame if broadcasting exists i'm sure this could be answered easily in some way.

It is a good idea but it reminds me of the hunger games. Keep trying and then you'll have the next best seller! :)

It sounds a lot like hunger games, with less competitors, and no districts.

So it's a cross between Hunger Games and Battle Royale?
