How Do You Read Acm Books Online?

Books? I was wondering if anyone knew some great books to read. I'm 23 yr old female?

  • I'm looking for more great books to read. I don't care to much about vampire books or anything like that, but i did enjoy the harry potter books. I like many different types of books. I've read Sophie Kinsella books and authors like her, African American urban fiction books (ex. like torn by keisha ervin and books like that. I've read romance, mystery, and the list goes on. Now i don't know what other good books to read? If anyone can help thanks!!!

    I'm not much of a romance reader. These are some of my favorites, maybe you'll like one... The Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan. It starts out with teen heroes, has that boy-destined-for-greatness thing that Harry Potter has. It actually quenched my desire for something Harry Potterish after the series ended. Song of Ice and Fire by George RR Martin. It's an adult series with a bit of a medieval history feel. Full of battles and swordplay, loyalty and betrayal, very small amount of magic. I Capture the Castle by Dodie Smith. Best first line: "I write this sitting in the kitchen sink." It's a very sweet romance, like Jane Austen or the Bronte sisters, but written in a more modern language. Christopher Moore books. Funny and a little odd. Fluke was my first and still favorite. Me Talk Pretty One Day by David Sedaris. It's a memoir, so if you're not into those types of books, skip it. However, the chapter called Me Talk Pretty One Day made me laugh til I cried. Snow Flower and the Secret Fan by Lisa See. It's about girls growing up in China. It's a powerful story of friendship. Replay by Ken Grimwood. It's science fiction, a Hugo winner. But it isn't far flung galaxies and extra terrestrials. It's a poignant tale along the lines of the movie called Groundhog Day. Sort of time travel, but not really. One of my favorite books.

I have read some Sarah Dessen books, and they are really good. Also everyone is talking about the Hunger Games, apparently they are really good.

Hmm. I would recommended the Hunger Games trilogy. I read it and it was amazing! Possible Percy Jackson and the Olympians. Ive read a lot of books, but your not big on vampires. Maybe werewolves? If so Im reading Nightshade by Andrea Cremer right now which is really good. All the books I recomended I have read, and I have also read the Harry Potter books! I hope I was able to help you! :)

Here is one for ya: The kite runner, by Hussein Khalid. I don't know if thats how you spell his name but just search kite runner and you will find it will make you cry laugh and all sorts.
