What is an excellent quality, cheap printer that can be run wireless?

How do I get a book printed? There are so many options from paper quality to how its bound I feel overwhelmed.

• I joined an online gaming community and our leader has put so much hard work into the group that I wanted to try and get a book published with stories, pictures and our history for his birthday. It is some time away but after a little looking around, there are so many different things to consider I can't help but feel overwhelmed. I wanted it to be a hardback book so it has a better chance of lasting through the years. What kind of recommendations can you make as far as book size (I was thinking around 6x9), paper quality (there will be a few maps and a few diagrams but probably not very many pictures), type of cover, binding and most importantly printer. I will look locally first but am just curious if anyone has a great experience with a printer online. It will be a very small run, twenty five copies at the most. Probably a three or four color cover...it is a work in progress but am just trying to get some suggestions. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance!

  I recommend sel-publishing; you publish a book, and buy as many or as few copies as you want. I recommend www.lulu.com its the one i used to publish my book. It is free. Lulu print books in hardback or softback, but i beeive if you want a hardback colour book, you need a 8.25x10.75 (Lulu ofer other sizes, but that is the only size in a hardcover with color. If you want it black and white you can choose other sizes). The proces is quite simple, and if you get stuck at any point you could check out the forums or the live help. At the end you decide the price, lulu add on a few royalties for them, and the printing costs, and then you can buy as many as you want. You can delete the project at any time should you want to.
