How to write a procedure?

What is the procedure to write a book?

  • From so many days I was thinking of a good story. Now that I've got my story I want to give it a start. What is the steps involved in writing a book?Should we take an official permission to write a book? Also inform me how to get our book published after writing it?

  • Answer:

Step one: you'll need pencil and paper! Step two: Using pencil, start with a simple word or phrase like "The..." or "Once upon a time...", or just anything. Step Three: Just start writing what comes to your head until the story tells itself. Step Four: After your story is finished, then worry about how to get it published. The important thing is that you get it down on paper or screen. Note: Most publishers will write their guidlines for submission in a book called "The Writer's Market, 2006" or whatever year. After you've written your masterpiece go do the research and edit it into the guidlines. Hope this helps! :)

To write a book, all you need to do is start writing it. If you have based teh story on someone's real life or a true event etc, then you need to get some permissions (that doesn't stop you from writing it, but once you're finished, you may find you've got a book that gets tied up in legals). So to write a book. Many people have different ideas on this, but the best way is just to start. Use a pen, pencil and paper if you wish, or go a computer and word processor. If you're so inclined and going for a full book, it might be a good idea to jot down the skeleton of the story, like a general begininning, middle and end, and flesh out a few key moments (like when the main character finds what he/she's looking for, etc). If you don't like planning, just start writing fromt he begininning and see what happens. Also, you can write in fragments. So long as you have a general idea where the story is going, you can write a segment of chapter 21 first, and then a bit of the introduction, or maybe even start with the ending. For any of these methods, always expect that once you're finished with the first draft, you're going to go over it and edit it. Very rarely is the first draft of a book the final draft. You'll change things, delete things or add things. That's just how it goes. Try not to delete EVERYTHING though, as you may decide later that the thing you got rid of was good, or had some good bits. There are many text books and such you can refer to for this. Now, once you're done, you have a number of options. You can publish it yourself, by finding printers and distributors or places to sell the book all on your own. This is incredibly expensive and hard, unless you have lots of good contacts. You can get a literary agent, who will help you bring the book to fruition and legitimise the book a great deal mroe in publisher's eyes. You can send it to publishing houses on your own, but most won't look at a manuscript (your finished, unpublished book) if it's unsolicited, which means it isn't being represented by a professional like a lit agent. You could also publish it online at various websites. Recommendations: Search google or the phone book for publishing companies, lit agents etc in your area. A good book on how to write is by Stephen King, called 'On Writing' which I found impartial and helpful. Also, for online publishing, there are print-on-demand places like Lulu.com or CafePress.com. The best thing for writing a book is determination and dedication. Good luck.

It isn't too hard, outline your story, then start writing. {many months go by} once its finished take a break, then revise it once, twice, thrice... until you feel you can't do any better. Then send it away and be prepared for a serie of rejections but if you believe in it long enough it will get published. Good luck

Once you feel the story is complete, you may either star to pen down or start typing it. Once the whole process is complete, approach any good publisher with a synopsis and if they like it, and if they agree to publish the same, you may forward the entire story to them. Remember a contract will need to be signed at this point so that you gain the Royalty once the book is published and you retain the right to be the genuine author.

Why would you need permission to write? Of course not...unless you are using someone else's idea. Just sit down and begin your first draft...or try to organize your thoughts a bit first. What ever works for you. Secondly, after you have your book edited (AND PLEASE HAVE IT EDITED!) you can self-publish it...which in my opinion is reserved for those who either make a hobby out of publishing themselves, or cannot get published in a legitimate manner...I've met a few of those people. Oh brother.... There are many books available on how to get an agent. There are also books that list publishers who accept unsolicited manuscripts. How legitimate they are, I have no idea. If you have friends who are published authors (as I do) you can ask them for advice. Use your resources! Or if your manuscript is good, you can seek out an editor who will then lead you to publishers. There are a few people on here who will lead you to many "loop holes" but I think that if you really wanted to see your book in print, you should probably go through all of the legitimate venues. Granted, there are many ways to proceed. I think that first, you should write your book. Some times what sounds good in ones head may not actually pan out on paper. It can takes years to write a good story. If you rush it, you will fail. You could also look into screenplays and go that direction. Warning though...they are not easy to write.

I feel the better way for writing a Book is 1.To find whom is your target. (childrens, parents, teachers, philosophers… 2.To get a wide range of informations regarding the topic and recent advancements. 3.To find the problem in understanding the concept and try to explain the concept in a easier way. 4.To find some interesting results, datas to make the book unique.
