What good books are there for a thirteen year old girl to read?

I'm a thirteen year old girl and I need some new books to read... any suggestions?

  • i'm very picky about what I read which makes it hard to find a good book... I've read the twilight series, the night world series, angels in pink series, some of the meditator series, thirteen reasons why, and loved them all I'm a HUGE fan of love stories or anything that has to do with people finding love... anything like the books that i mentioned above would be great. Salems Lot- Stephen king a town is over run with vampires and one man must stop it Pet Sematary- Stephen King When their cat dies, Jud takes Louis to an ancient Indian burial ground, and when they bury the cat there, it comes back to life Romeo and Juliet- any thing by Shakespearer to me first orginal love story I have read every book on this list and they are all very good but by far Misery is the best! hope that helps

harry Potter Series, or the Uglies series- best books ever! More cheesy are the Gossip Girl series and the Clique series

The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold its a sad story but REALLLY good with the narrator a girl your age. its one of those books you'll never forget.

Try Jane Austen's books. Pride & Prejudice Emma Sense & Sensibility Mansfield Park Persuasion Northanger Abby Nancy Drew series. (these were great when I was your age)

You're a teenager now, so the whole of human literature should be open to you. How about - Moby Dick - Melville Pride and Prejudice - Austen Jane Eyre - Bronte, C Les Miserables - Hugo The Mayor of Casterbridge - Hardy. Aim high. Edit - sheesh, why do I keep forgetting To Kill a Mockingbird?
