I know that the Eastern Roman Empire was the Greek and Aramaic component of the Roman Empire and that after the capital of the Roman Empire was moved to Constantinople the Western Roman Empire was formed. is rather did they use SPQR or was that abriaviation retired infavor of Greek letters XP for Christ.
