Answer:
Actually, old chap, I think you'll find that the rules of English pronunciation are known as "RP" - Received Pronunciation - and were first formalised by Daniel Jones, Professor of phonetics at UCL, in 1917. Never mind, though. I'm sure this Brazilian chap's pamphlet is just splendid. And well done for trying, eh? That's the main thing!

There is gibberish, then there is this sort of ill-educated, poorly reasoned,, badly written drivel. The English - you know, the people that actually speak English first decided on how English was to be pronounced, not some Brazilian charlatan.

Oh , Lovey , that must've taken an absolute Age to post , how jolly civil of you , I'm sure . Are you quite perfectly certain some Sardine-muncher from Rio could have grasped all the nuances of pronounciation ? Very impressive if he did , Damned if I could do that for Portugese . And did he do the variations for Mummerset , Geordie , Glasgae , Scouse , Mockney , Brum and Norfik too ? Ahh . Well . Hmmm .
