What is the best World War II museum to donate artifacts to?
-
I've contacted a few museums, and several respond with "yeah, send us what you got...". I don't want to send priceless artifacts only to have Joe Schmo selling them on e-bay. Just looking for a reputable museum that would be willing to add some stuff to their collection.

Answer:
Find a museum that specializes in the part of WW2 that these artifacts represent. For example, a part of a warship should go to a naval museum. War trophies could be returned to the country of origin, many greatly appreciate the gesture
