What was the job of women in the middle colonies during the American Revolution? Where can I find information?

-
Answer:
They were the daughters of liberty and they were responsible for aiding the revolution effort any way they could. They made clothes at home to help the boycott of British goods. Their role was definitely elevated in society but not by much. After the revolution, they were responsible for raising the next generation of revolutionaries.
