How does the hockey fantasy pick work?

• i'm a big hockey fan (more specifically minnesota wild) and i want to start a fantasy team, but im new to the whole thing, so i was wondering if someone could walk me through it.

  well the draft is like all others on yahoo usually twelve people you pick some where 1-12 and as you go the draft moves down the lines forward and backwards for example you have the first pick you pick ovenchkin now the line moves up to the twelfth spot where 12 picks first in the second round and moves back down to you who picked first and then you pick first again in the third round and this continues till all spot on everyones roster are filled having the first pick is a blessing and a curse because while you get the best player in the nhl you have to wait along time to pick next so anyway good luck also i found it very difficult to find trade partners in yahoo everybody wants a onesided deal no fair trades if your looking for your favorite player maybe youll get lucky
