Who to start for the playoffs?

Who should I start? Fantasy playoffs! Help?

  • Fantasy playoffs started and now it's single elimination so I can't lose. $120 is on the line. I have 3 wr positions but I have 4 wr's that I want to start. I have Victor Cruz, Hakeem Nicks, Percy Harvin, and Laurent Robinson. I'm starting Cruz for sure. So 2 open wr spots left. Percy Harvin has Adrian Peterson & Michael Jenkins both out so he seems to be a good pick for this week. But, the Broncos have had crazy defense the past 2 weeks! and not to mention champ bailey will single Harvin out. Next, Laurent Robinson has been on fire lately! So I really think I should start him. Plus, Arizona's defense isn't that great. Downside is, Miles Austin comes back this week. Then again, that might not necessarily be a bad thing, cuz then Arizona might single out Austin more, leaving Robinson open on more plays. Last, Hakeem Nicks. He is a stud and should almost never be benched in fantasy. Although Manningham is returning this week, Nicks is still a monster along with Cruz. So, out of Percy Harvin, Laurent Robinson, and Hakeem Nicks, which of those 3 should I bench this week? Please help, WILL PICK BEST ASNWER! Please justify your answers. Thanks

actually there isn't alot i can add to this. cuz u. like me.. are quite methodical in your approach and reasoning of selections and such all giants should do well... they'll be trying to chase after rodgers... barely any running (from the giants) eli will have to throw it... 40 times maybe... and whenever that happens... its bound to be good for the receivers. denver's defence has been good at limiting points... in real life... not fantasy points... ryan mathews ran for 130+ yards last week. so... harvin is an awesome start because he doubles as a RB as well. arizona has a horrible pass defense... from since week 6 or 7... and it hasn't changed... ribinson's advantage is... even when he's covered in the end zone... he breaks free and romo finds him... i think it'llt ake romo a little while to get "find robinson" out of his system and replace it with " find dez or miles" i honestly can;t help u make this choice... i'mma just share other insights i have with you in hopes it helps u somewhat please do let me know what u did and how it turns out. (post it on my wall or sumn so i don't miss it) good luck!

Romo proved last week that he will choose Robinson over Bryant. Austin won't have as big an impact as you think and is still questionable. NYG is playing GB so if you start both Cruz and Nicks you'll be looking at automatic numbers (shoot out). Cruz, Nicks, Robinson

Gotta sit Harvin here. With Peterson out I think they will put more attention on Harvin.

Got to sit Harvin here...with Peterson sitting the Broncos are going to tee-off on Ponder forcing him into a terrible game since they don't have to worry about the running game. Harvin has issues every week and this week you are absolutely right that Champ Bailey will be all over him. I'm not usually for starting two WR's from the same team but Cruz and Nicks are good to go...they have shown all season that when they are both healthy and in the line-up together they put up great fantasy points. Robinson has a great rapport with Romo and even with Austin coming back I see Robinson still being good for several big plays and probably 5-7 receptions. Basically it looks about like this from my perspective for this week: Cruz - 5 recs 101 yards 0 td Nicks - 4 recs 77 yards 1 td Robinson - 6 recs 92 yards 1 td Harvin - 2 recs 21 yards receiving 19 yards rushing 0 td
