Which QB should I pick up for fantasy?

Who should I pick for a Backup QB in my fantasy football league?

  • Vince Young is having issues. I need a backup QB, these are my choices: Russell (OAK), Pennington (NYJ), T. Jackson (MIN), Flacco (BAL) or Edwards (BUF). Who should I pick?

  • Answer:

Well lets look at each QB: Russell looked horrible in week 1, and his receivers are pretty bad, and will be until he gets Javon Walker back from injury. T. Jackson is another michael vick minus the dog fighting. he runs the ball too much but doesn't have much of an arm and will throw too many interceptions this year Flacco is just a rookie and he will be giving the ball to McGahee too much this year. Between Edwards and Pennington, i actually like Edwards more. He has a dangerous receiver that can go deep at any time with Lee Evans. Pennington didn't have that great of a game against the Jets and barely even kept them in the game. He has horrible guys to throw to, and I trust Edwards more, go for him good luck

My top choice (among those you listed) would be Pennington, with Flacco and Edwards a little behind him. I wouldn't take Russell if you paid me. Also, as others suggested, I'd grab Kitna or Cassel ahead of Pennington if either guy is available.

Jack D

I would grab Cutler if he is still available.
