Who to start for the playoffs?

Who should I start fantasy football week 14? Need to win to make playoffs. Helu? Wells? Barber?

  • OK so I need to win this week in fantasy football to make playoffs next week. League is a standard league, no points per receptions. At WR, I have three open slots. I have Brandon Marshall, Brandon Lloyd, and Vincent Jackson starting with Miles Austin on the bench. Should I start Miles Austin over any of the receivers? At running back, I have one position available. I have the following options to start: Roy Helu, Marion Barber, Beanie Wells, Brandon Jacobs, and Mike Tolbert. Who should I start???

  • Answer:

I wouldn't start Austin, there's no telling how effective he'll be if he plays at all. For RB, I'd take Helu over the others, but in my league a running back who catches passes is at a premium. I still think he's the better pick, even if rushing is more important than receiving. I've already locked up third place in my league, and have a meaningless game before my playoffs start next week. Good luck to you!

For the WR's B. Marshall, V. Jackson, and M. Austin. As for the RB go with R. Helu. He's been carrying the load for WAS and he puts up good numbers for Fantasy.
