2008 Fantasy Football Keeper Question: Do I keep Dwayne Bowe or Michael Bush?

Dwayne Bowe. Think about your team in a couple years. QB: Romo RB: AP, Brown, Turner (who will get a bunch of carries w/a new team), and Norwood WR: CJ and Bowe That is UNBEATABLE!!!!!!

The guys above me pretty much have it right. Bush may be big in Oakland, but he'll have to fight his way up the depth chart first, and even then with all the depth at RB they have, he's going to be hard pressed to become the clear everyweek #1 workhorse back for the Raiders. You're deep enough at RB that you dont need to take a flier on him. Bowe though is going to go into next season as the main WR for KC. He's someone you'll probably start every week, even if only as your WR3, but the worst guy youd start is still more valuable than the best guy you'd keep on the bench. Bush, or someone just as good, will probably be available on waivers next year anyway, I doubt anyone is going to take a flier on him in the draft before he's even taken a snap for Oakland in a real game. Waiver wire WRs tend to be a lot riskier, and it tends to be a few weeks into the season till hot waiver wire WRs like Bowe was this year start to become apparent.

Gotta keep Bowe, he's had an awesome season for a nobody and bush just hasn't even played and NFL game yet. Yes Bush does have lots of potential, and if he starts he will be succesful, the raiders have moved into a run first offense, and my guess is either Jordon or Rhodes is gonna leave so he'll be able to compete for the job. Key word is compete yes he will get a chanche but no nothing is guaranteed. You've already got great RB's so your fine. Also I have Bowe too and Chad Johnson, Johnson has been too inconsistent this year but hopefully, next year the Bengals will get back to normal. Anyways keep Bowe, but watch out for Bush when you guys have your draft again, or however you do just keep and eye out or if he's a free agent, becasue like I said if he gets the starting job, the Raiders will run the football.

I think this a question that you have to answer right now the answer is Dwayne Bowe who had a great year for a rookie, and reminds me of another big receiver Marques Colston. If you get to wait til before the season, i would wait and see how Bush's health is before the season and if he has an opportunity to win the job for Oakland. The Raider's were really successful with many different backs this season (Rhodes lately, Fargas through out the middle of the year, Jordan early) so who ever starts in their backfield could be really good next year. I sway towards Bowe only cause he's shown more right now.

You have Adrian Peterson (the Vikes RB, I assume), Ronnie Brown, Michael Turner, and Jerious Norwood. That's 4 good young RB's. You don't need to test the waters with a terrible Oakland RB (who seem content on making Justin Fargas work and Dominic Rhodes/Lamont Jordan his backup) who does not have an offensive line behind him. Bowe had a promising rookie year and will continue to be a go to receiver for Croyle in KC. If you take Bush...sorry. But that's a move even Funston wouldn't make. Better go for Bowe.

Frame your opinions like this: If Dwayne Bowe (who is easily ROY level talent) had the great year he did with bums like Brodie Croyle and Damon Huard throwing to him, just think what he'll do with a much better QB at the helm - which I guarantee you KC will go out and find or draft after they fire their loser coach Herm Edwards.
