Should I start Adrian Peterson?

Week 16-Start Tony Romo or Aaron Rodgers? Adrian Peterson, Clinton Portis, or Pierre Thomas (start 2)?

  • I'm in the championship game for my fantasy league this week and I'm caught with who to start. Do I start Romo (vs. Ravens) or Rodgers (vs. Bears)--both tough defenses I'm probably gonna start peterson. But who do I start? Portis has been struggling lately with limited carries and peterson's been racking up some points with new orleans. But it's a little late in the season to take teh risk?

  • Answer:

Its a tough matchup for both QB's. But Romo should do decently against the Ravens, he has plenty of receivers to Throw too, unlike Mcnabb sadly. Rodgers always seems to throw 1 or Picks and Fumble th ball every time he Plays chicago. Plus if Romo can do decently against the Steelers, he should Damage the Ravens (especially if the Giants did earlier this Season) As for RB, AP is a must start of Course. I would actually go with Thomas, I own Forte, Portis, an P. Thomas, an I am starting Forte an Thomas. Portis got 25 carries against Cincy, And only 70 some Yds. Philly Is way better (like 7th Against the Run) than Cincy. Plus PT cruiser(Thomas) is playing the Lions, which, in Case you forot, the lions would lose to most High school teams. So go with Romo, AP, Thomas. Hope this Helps Dude! ~Cody

I will start Romo because Cowboys have no choice but to throw...Choice is an ok RB but he can't get anything done against the Ravens. The Cowboys have no choice but to throw...Ed Reed is kind of banged up so he won't be that much of a factor. As for running back Portis is injured so forget about him...start Adrian Peterson he can make anything happen. Pierre Thomas ain't bad at all but they are playing against the Seahawks who allow a huge amount of passing yards.

Dude

Peterson and Portis. I'll take portis because its a rilvary game and he's due to have one more good game this year. washington would love to play spoiler. portis is going to play and play well. Peterson is Peterson... he's busy making 6 teams go "huh... wah...we passed on that guy"? Go with Rodgers. Romo is going to get hit a lot. His back is hurting still and one or two good hits could send him to the showers.

I have both on my team and I normally start Romo but this week I think Rodgers is the better pick. Week 11 Packers laid the smackdown on Bears 37-3. Cowboy and Ravens game is going to be low-scoring and will be a defensive showcase on both sides of the ball. Definitely Aaron Rodgers.

You got to start Peterson. I would definitely start P. Thomas vs. a very weak Detroit defense (Bush is likely to be out of this game at press time). At QB, weather could be a big factor here. I'll roll the dice w/ Romo at home instead of Rodgers playing at Chicago on a December Monday Night.

Well.. romo and aaron rodgers both stink, i kind of want to go matt cassel style. but i guess ill take romo just because he usually chokes in the playoffs. and do u really think ill take someone else other than adrian peterson.

The Guy who Likes PIE

go with romo and thomas tashard choice isn't gonna run on the ravens d so they'll be thrown and thomas has been running hard and they cant stack the box with brees under center
