Why use Eli Manning on Madden 09 next year?

Me and my friends have a Madden league and today the Giants (Kendall's team) had a must win game to keep them in the Wild Card picture. The Giants were up 15-3 at the half but Eli crumbled in the 2nd half throwing 4 picks. Kendall had to put Anthony Wright in during the 4th and Wright got the Giants back in the game with a td drive, then on NY's next drive he almost brought NY within 5 points but his pass was intercepted in the endzone when the ball deflected off the receiver's hand. Not his fault at all. Wright is a guy who won the second to last Super Bowl with the 2005-2006 Ravens. He came out and went 5-6 for 151 yards. Eli had a rating of 22.1. Eli just aint clutch in Madden games. Last year he fell apart in the playoffs and went 1-5 in the redzone and didnt convert a 3rd down the whole game. NY got waxed 42-14. Im trying to tell this fool Kendall not to use Manning for the next Madden season but he wont listen.

In Madden.. Eli Manning is by far one of the worst QB's in that game. I believe he has a rating of ...82? At this moment Phillip Rivers is better than manning just because he is an accurate QB. Also a lot of the time in Madden, the DEF is stronger against the starting QB, but if you bring in a back-up they tend to give up a lot more yards and plays. I wouldn't start Eli...ever. Good luck!!
