Which QB and WR's should i start this week?

Who to Start/Sit Week 15 in Fantasy Football? Playoff Time!?

  • Standard League/Non PPR Fantasy Playoff Time! My team is in the Semis! My Lineup at this point and time-- QB--Peyton Manning WR--DeSean Jackson WR--Hakeem Nicks RB--Steven Jackson RB--LeGarrette Blount TE--Jason Witten FLEX--??????**** K--David Akers Def--New England ****Need help deciding on a FLEX play here in Week 15... Felix Jones v. Redskins (this who I'm leaning towards with such a great matchup-- But how big of a threat are Choice and Barber to his carries this week? Plus Felix is great as receiver out of the backfield--better than those other two) OR Anquan Boldin v. Saints (his inconsistency has been killing me lately. I know the guy is a Beast, but he's being out produced by Mason! Saints have a strong secondary too, only giving up 4 TDs to WRs all year long) Other "options" I have on my Bench (that I don't necessarily care for at this point and time) include-- Brian Westbrook @ Chargers Tashard Choice v. Redskins Shonn Greene @ Steelers Mario Manningham v. Eagles Big Mike Williams v. Falcons Who is my best bet out of this group (including Felix Jones & Anquan Boldin my top two choices)? Who do you think I should start and WHY in your opinion? Thoughts, Ideas, and Opinions welcome! Thanks in advance!

Hey thanks for the help on my question. I'd have to say stick with the same suggestion as you seem to be getting so far and say go with Jones. Barber seems to be 50/50 on coming back and Choice is only seeing limited reps. With the Redskins falling 1-4 lately, they're mentally checking out of the season and their defense wasn't all that great to begin with. Like you said Boldin just doesn't have that great of a match-up, and Bolden's production has been hit or miss, making him a mess of bad factors. He may have a decent game, but odds are that Jones will have the better one.

In your flex, I would start Felix Jones, this year, he has been better, he has been exploding, and choice might share some carries, and barber, he is not gonna play again this year i dont think

Your best bet for a flex play is usually a RB. That being said I feel that Brian Westbrook is your top RB option, not Felix Jones. I also think that Mike Williams is your top WR option here, not Anquan Boldin. Both Felix Jones and Anquan Boldin are very good players Felix Jones has 2 other RB's that may take a good percentage of the carries and in Dallas you can never really put your money on what they will do in any given situation. So I'd go with Westbrook, I feel that he has proven himself to the 49ers. Anquan Boldin as of late has not put up numbers. With NO strong secondary, i wouldn't risk it. The Ravens being at home helps a little, but with the Saints needing a win they're D is going to be playing harder than ever. This is going to be a good game. I'd rank your players as follows Mike Williams > Anquan Boldin and Westbrook > Jones I hope this helps.

Thanks for answering my ? I love Felix at Flex...ya choice/barber steal a few carries but the skins haynsworth-less run D is suspect and if your league is PPR Jones will put up big #'s. Westbrook has been hot but Dixon will cut into his carries and I hate starting players on Thurs night games. Not to mention 49ers will get down quick and escape the run. Go with Jones. Boldin is gonna be doubled all day and Flacco looks for Mason more then anyone. Good luck pal

Choice. He has been hot lately.

ME MYSELF AND I

I would have to say Felix Jones because you know what your going to get with him, but anquan is a toss up

RBs typically put up more points than WR that is why I think you have to go with Jones. He has been a solid fantasy choice as of late especially for a flex player

Newb

I would go with Boldin even though Mason got two Td last week it Boldins turn this week Boldin will get some good fantasy points

Alex B

not Mike Williams... thats a terrible matchup against the falcons, Boldin has to deal with NO and that doesnt sound promising either... I'm thinking Choice or Jones

Nick Miller

Ya, don't risk it against the Saints. I'd go with Felix and a weak Washington D. Good luck and thanks for answering my question.
