What does joint size mean?

What does it mean 3/8 or 1/2 grip size mean?

• I measured my hand with the ruler like several websites said to do so to find my grip size, and i got 4 7/8, and idk, i know i have long fingers, but tennis warehouse doesnt have that grip size anywhere, so I dont know if i measured wrong... help?

  They are grip sizes as u may no 3/8is smaller than 1/2 When you put your hand on a grip you want there to be enough room betweenthe space between tourthumb and fingers after there gripped to be able to fit your pinkey in the gap.if you have long fingers I recomend a 1/2 if you have long fingers with one overgrip(recomend tourna2). Good luck and try demoing raquets.
