Do you need to have experience to join McKinley High School's Tennis team(In Honolulu)?

I'm in 7th grade right now and am going to enter McKinley highschool in 9th grade. This may seem a bit early to talk about.. but I want to join the Tennis team in McKinley highschool once I get to 9th grade. I don't have ANY experience what-so-ever on playing tennis, but I really like the sport. I want to join SOOOO badly once i geet to 9th grade.. but i need to know if I need experience to PLAY... :/. And I'm also curious on what JV and Varsity is.. I'm also curious on if you HAVE to get IN to JV or Varsity to actually be on the team.. cause actually i don't really want to go in competitions.. i just want to learn how to play. and get good :/.. If you told me what I need to do that'd help a lot ><. Thanks

xavier, **** you, haha and experience is not required but you should have some because most people when they start they hit the ball straight up, and suck, u dont want to embarrass urself, get a racket a month in advance, and practice on weekends, youll get good

it is not necessary to have experience... but you should definitely go out and play before to get an upperhand on the competition out there! high school tennis is a blast. good luck. JV is Junior Varisty and Varsity is well, Varsity! Varsity is better than JV, thats what you should strive for.
