Why do some private tennis clubs ruin tennis for young tennis lovers like me?

Forget them, join another tennis club without all the dumb rules, or if you want to play, play in a public court

I would like to see Wimbledon blown up and replaced by a tournament at some municipal courts that ordinary people can associate to. i am with u all the way man i live in sheffield and a tennis club called then hallamshire contains the most stuck up adults posin and trying to look good, and you have to be dressed in ralph lauren and armani to not get death stared and for the younger players it must be terrible but what can we do about it ?

I quite agree, and the sooner young people stand up for themselves and say what they think about this the better. One little tip though, don't be aggressive and don't use bad language, this doesn't help your cause at all. Treat these people with respect and with this in mind, IF YOU CAN'T BEAT THEM JOIN THEM, AND THEN BEAT THEM.

good question.. have star.. i understand how you feel.. the government seriously needs to adress this situation..rather than giving grants for stupid pebbles and architecutre... i know britain has loads talented tennis players and future grandslam champions yet they are missin out due to the stuck up people in higher places!!which is soo wrong..grrrr every park in every area needs at least 4 or 5 courts too start with,like their are football goalposts in nearly every park.. that why at young age kids can start learnin basic tennis skills which can only improve them and take them to higher level.. can't we get petition or something going..to tell this stuck up government too pump money into tennis facilities!!
